The nation is grappling with an acute crisis of alcohol and chemical dependency. Too often,
people complete clinical detox or residential treatment only to confront a cold reality:
nowhere safe to stay, zero financial reserves, no employment assistance, and an immediate
threat of relapse.
We could not simply remain onlookers while members of our community bounced between revolving doors of institutional programs. We established Eva House with an uncompromising, grounded mission: create an honest, dignified home where anyone genuinely ready for change can regain their footing, live clean, and attain authentic self- reliance through structured peer brotherhood and sisterhood.
“We started by sitting around one kitchen table, working hand-in-hand with
our very first residents. Today, seeing close to 50 individuals reunite with
their families and maintain stable careers is proof that dignity, daily
accountability, and mutual respect save lives.”
We don’t believe in sterile bunkhouses or transactional care. Every resident has a name, a tailored roadmap, and an unconditional advocate standing right beside them.
